Entrepreneur and founder of Taking It to the Streets, an Oakland, California-based nonprofit, Rene Boisvert specializes in fundraising and philanthropy. He has completed master’s-level work to receive a CFRM in fundraising management from the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University. With experience as an adviser for many local nonprofits, Rene Boisvert serves as a board member with St. Vincent’s Day Home. He is also a former board advisor for Philanthropic Ventures Foundation and a former board member for the Oakland Paramount Theatre. His current work at Taking it to the Streets is aimed at raising funds for those suffering in poverty throughout the Bay Area.

Rene Boisvert previously served as senior vice president of operations and marketing at Rainy Day Productions, a concert promoter known for its unique marketing tactics and record number of sold out shows.
